Raw earth wall claddings?

Parementerre panels are the result of several years of experience and research into raw earth plasters.
These elegant, minimalist modules measure 60 x 30 cm and are created using wooden frames coated with raw earth plaster.

An aesthetic and ecological approach

They are made exclusively from natural materials:

  • Raw earth, a natural, local material that is easy to extract and comes in a wide variety of colours;
  • Plant fibres (straw, hemp, etc.) help to limit cracking
  • Wood: the frames and supports for ‘Parementerre’ come from French forests. They are mostly made of Landes pine, but the visible parts may be made of more noble woods (oak, beech, etc.).

A tailor-made, eco-friendly and modular interior solution

Earth is a healthy material, installation is quick and requires no demolition. The modules are movable, can be installed directly in front of insulation, and improve hygrothermal and acoustic comfort.

About me

My name is Johan Després.

Graduated of the Grenoble School of Architecture and a specialist in raw earth (clay) architecture (DSA-CRATerre), I have been renovating old buildings since 2013.

After more than ten years of experience, observation and reflection in this field, I am driven by the desire to develop this idea of ‘Parementerre’. Born over time and fuelled by encounters, it aims to be innovative, open-ended and open to the relationship with the customers and designers who will be taking part in the adventure.

There are still many avenues to explore, and my love for this material is intense. I’m concentrating my energy and expertise on offering you an innovative, ethical and harmonious solution.
